Memories of Minalungao

This adventure happened last April 2014 during our high school batch get together in Minalungao National Park which was in the process of becoming famous in Nueva and started gaining popularity among travelers/adventure seekers that year. And today, after two years, Minalungao National Park has already developed as an eco-adventure park that offered adventure attractions and has been on the top list as tourist destination and consistent number one in the bucket list of all travel adventurer in the Central Luzon.

Minalungao National Park is located in the Municipality of General Tinio, Nueva Ecija on the foothills of the wide-ranging Sierra Madre Mountain, just under four hours away from the capital Manila. It is usually compared and usually called El Nido of Nueva Ecija because of its meters-high rock limestones formations as seen mostly in Palawan. It has a total land area of 2,018 hectares.

Memories of Minalungao

I just happened to find photos from our get-together trip in Minalungao National Park, Nueva Ecija two years ago which brought my memories of Nueva Ecija to the surface again.
That is why one of my favorite’s things about taking photographs is the ability to relive your experiences through the photos.

It’s such a majestic place, I manage to fall in love with Minalungao even only I spent a day with it. I will definitely return to Minalungao and fall in love with it all over again.

Barangay Fiesta 2014 - Calaba San Isidro Nueva Ecija (Philippines)

2nd day off work, wanted to go outside for photoshoot but I can't due to weather here in Oman started to change to seasonably hot and much as i wanted to make my off worthy, will going to blog one of the most memorable occasions for me as a child- our barangay fiesta (CALABA,SAN ISIDRO, NUEVA ECIJA,PHILIPPINES).
What makes it special is that the fiesta have a contest for float parade and street banderitas wherein 9 puroks competes for the prize, not to mention cash and trophy cups from sponsors.
The fiesta falls on every third week of May, which is vacation for students but as early as January, people in our barangay started to build and design each of their masterpiece, it's a two day celebration and it started with a street dancing together with the parade floats competition on the first day and the procession of the patron saint on the second day. There were also exciting programs on the second day where organizers invites local artist.
And here are the pictures.
